Programs
The overarching mandate of
the Roxbury Multi-Service Center is to provide services and programs which "Bridge the Gap of Possibilities for individuals and families."
We strive to do so by providing
both individuals and families a comprehensive network of resources of related
programs and services. Our programs are designed to meet the broad and diverse
needs of families.
These resources include:

Crisis intervention and violence prevention program for victims of sexual assault
and other forms of violence
- A multicultural and multidisciplinary clinical
training program in mental health for graduate level interns of color

Culturally-sensitive therapeutic counseling
- Intervention programs for
children and families to foster stronger family relationships
- A 24 room, and 66 bed
homeless shelter
- Emergency financial assistance to help low-income families
avoid eviction and utility loss
- Support services for at-risk adolescents
and their families
- Educational training and career development programs
for youth
- Administration of a scholarship fund to provide supplemental
college financial assistance
- A computer technology training center

- Support services designed to reunite families
which have been previously separated
