RMSC Family House
In the 1980s, Roxbury Multi Service Center (RMSC) opened the Family House Shelter for homeless families- the first of its kind in Massachusetts. As we support the States initiative to end homelessness, RMSC recently converted the shelter facility of more than 25+ years to permanent housing for homeless families. Since October 2015, formerly homeless families are now enjoying their new homes.
Supportive services are provided to ensure that our new families have a fresh start at rebuilding their lives and strengthening their family unit once again.
Safe and affordable housing has been a long time priority of RMSC and we are pleased to have this opportunity to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to building healthy neighborhoods.
